Hi, I'm Divine: founder of Divinytea and the award-winning landscape designer behind Remesha Design Lab, the design practice from which Divinytea was born.

Divinytea is where my love of tea, designing beautiful landscapes and community building come together. I curate and handcraft premium herbal tea blends in Vancouver, each one created to connect you to the healing power of plants, to yourself, and to everyone you share a cup with.

Every blend is made with love and care, in small batches, with thoughtfully sourced botanicals. My intention is simple: I want to create more moments of rest and healing in your day. Whatever moment you're in, there's a Divinytea blend for it. At least, I hope you find one that speaks to you.

Vision: The Divinytea Garden House

My bigger dream is a Vancouver community healing tea garden house: a restorative nature retreat built around wellness, tea and therapeutic horticulture, where I can finally welcome you in person.

Imagine a luxurious garden sanctuary devoted to rest and renewal. Lush herbal gardens growing the botanicals for our healing teas and wellness products. A full-service spa. Spaces to create, express and simply be. A serene environment where you can set down everyday stress, reconnect with yourself, and let nature do its healing magic on your body and mind.

Until that day comes, every cup I craft carries the same intention: a small, daily ritual of connection to plants, land and community.

About me

I'm Divine Ndemeye (she/her): landscape designer, artist, educator, and the hands, heart and passion behind every blend you'll find here.

My work has always been about one thing: creating healing portals, immersive places where people and communities can rest, reconnect and belong. I'm the founder and creative director of Remesha Design Lab, a multidisciplinary studio rooted in cultural landscape design, public art and public realm planning. I also teach as an Adjunct Professor at the UBC School of Architecture and Landscape Architecture.

Born in Burundi and shaped by years of living and travelling across many countries, I've become endlessly curious about the relationship between cultures and landscapes, and how they shape one another. My work is dedicated to curating places and experiences that uplift communities. I envision a future with an abundance of places that sustain culture, interconnectedness and joy.

My path has been honoured along the way: I'm a 2020 Olmsted Scholar, recipient of the highest leadership award for landscape architecture students in the U.S. and Canada, and a 2022 BC Society of Landscape Architects President's Award winner. That same dedication to excellence, innovation and community building is what shapes everything I build.

Through it all, tea has been my passion and comfort. I've spent years studying the art of making and drinking tea, learning from every culture I've encountered along the way. As an avid traveller and lifelong tea lover, Divinytea is where my design practice and my love of tea finally meet.
